Delayed orders

Learn what you can do if your medicine takes longer than expected.

Updated over a week ago

Getting your medicine to you quickly is our priority. But sometimes there are delays beyond our control, such as stock issues, or if your GP takes longer than usual to send us your prescription.

When this happens, we’ll let you know as soon as possible. And if you can’t wait for your medicine, you have a few options for getting your medicine sooner.

First, check the status of your order

We always give you options to get your medicine sooner, but the options you have depend on the status of your order.

To check your order’s status:

  1. Go to Medicine.

  2. Select the medicine you want to track.

Back in stock soon, currently unavailable, or waiting on other medicine?

This means we’re waiting on stock for one or more of the medicines in your order.

Select I need it sooner, then choose either to get any available medicine sent now, or collect all the medicine from a local pharmacy.

Note: All medicine on a prescription must be distributed from the same pharmacy. This means if we send your available medicine now, you cannot collect the rest from a local pharmacy.

Waiting for a prescription?

We’re waiting for your GP to issue a prescription before we can send your medicine.

This usually takes 1 to 2 working days, but if it takes longer you can contact your GP and ask them to send the prescription to us.

Medicine on its way?

Your medicine has already been dispatched and is being sent to you via Royal mail.

You can Track via Royal Mail and contact them if you have any questions.
